My recollection is that I sat on the lip of the balcony. My date had never seen the Dead and commented that Bob's intro on China Cat was "cute." The Star was marvelously spacy and seemed endless. I hadn't heard "Eyes" or "Stella" live and was quite blown away. It was a good place to end my time on the bus.

I don't know if he stayed in Ohio, but the Dead didn't play Ohio again for 3 years, til Sep '76.

whew! now that's a decent reason, other than being overseas in the military. I can't grok any deadhead NOT seeing the GD...at least thru the 70's.

My excuse is that my first show was on 10/9/76
